Jax Minecraft Tip #301: Secrets of the Gold Ingot

Here’s another post from Jax’s series of  Minecraft tips.  Be sure to read till the end so you can see how these gamer tips also apply to real life. First off, let me give you a little quiz – can you tell me the crafting recipe for a gold ingot?

Sorry, that was a bit of a trick question, huh? Did you notice I asked you how to CRAFT the ingot, not how to smelt it in a furnace (which is really much easier). But the point is that you can craft a gold ingot too — you just need 9 gold nuggets and the following recipe.

I won’t bore you with the basics because I’m sure you already know that you can make golden weapons, tools, and armor with gold, but did you also know that you can use gold for many other things too? For example, you can use gold ingots to make a CLOCK to tell time, a golden APPLE (to restore health), powered RAILS for your mine carts to move on their own, and so much more. Here are the recipes…
